Civil Construction Foreperson

The role will support a wide variety of projects consisting of, but not limited to, underground utilities, site development, telecommunications and power.

Batte is seeking an individual that has a strong willingness to learn and adapt to the changing environment of a construction site.  This individual must be motivated and possess great leadership skills.  They must be detail oriented, with a desire to produce quality work.  This position is career oriented.

 

Responsibilities of this position would include, but are not limited to:

Managing the daily activities of the crew and construction site.

Communicating with and organizing sub-contractors.

Ensuring the safety and well being of all crew members and that all safety policies are followed.

Ensuring each project is finished on-time and on-budget.

Completing daily reports, time and materials submittals, toolbox meetings, etc.

Ensuring that all company policies are adhered to.

 

Requirements for this position are:

A minimum of 5 years of construction supervisory experience is an asset, but not a requirement.

Valid driver's license.

Knowledge in heavy equipment is an asset, but not a requirement.

Individual must be motivated, a self starter and possess great leadership skills.

Safety training is an asset but will be provided as needed.

Plan reading and the understanding of construction specifications is required.
